Roaming - What happens when I am roaming outside the RLAH zone?
The RLAH measure does not apply when roaming in countries that are not part of the RLAH zone (i.e. countries outside the EU/EEA, other than Moldova and Ukraine). However, in accordance with the EU Roaming Regulation, a number of consumer protection measures apply when roaming in countries outside the RLAH zone.
We suggest you check with your mobile service provider how much you will be charged for making and/or receiving calls and SMSs, data usage, call diverts and voicemail when roaming outside the RLAH zone. If you decide that you want to disable any of the above facilities to avoid such charges, enquire with your service provider to guide you accordingly. We highly recommend doing this before you arrive at your destination to avoid incurring any unexpected costs, particularly in the case of data usage.
