Quality of Service (QoS) Parameters to be Measured by Providers of Internet Access Services (IAS) and Publicly Available Interpersonal Communications Services (PA-ICS)

The MCA is proposing a set of QoS parameters to be measured by providers of IAS and PA-ICS. Additionally, the MCA is proposing that providers publish performance data for these parameters in a standardised format.

The proposed parameters include: 

• Supply Time for Initial Connection
• Fault Rate per Access Line
• Fault Repair Time
• Bill Correctness Complaints
• Response Time for Operator Services
• Number of customer complaints
• Customer complaints resolution time

The consultation period will run until 12.00hrs CET of 07/03/2025.
