Proposed Decision on Source of Funding for the net cost incurred in providing universal service obligations during 2013

The MCA is publishing a proposed decision on the Source of Funding for the net cost incurred in providing universal service obligations during 2013.

A decision published in December 2016 on the review of GO plc’s application for funding of the net costs, established that the designated undertaking has suffered an element of unfair burden for the provision of the universal services and is entitled to receive the amount of €101,538 for the net cost incurred in providing each element of the universal services. The MCA is proposing that the established total amount of €101,538 shall be financed from public funds.
