The 2017 edition of Budding Rockstars, was held today at the Hilton Malta Hotel, St. Julian’s. The event was attended by 150 Form 5 students and more than 50 educators hailing from 40 schools in Malta and Gozo.

The MCA has been carrying out the Business Perception Surveys on a two-yearly interval since 2008. The Business Perception Surveys are aimed at examining the views and opinions of local businesses based on their experience in using products and services related to mobile telephony, fixed broadband, fixed telephony, and other tailor-made packages for business clients.

During the first half of 2017, the complaints received by the Malta Communications Authority (MCA) continued to decrease, confirming the downward trend reported during the last 6 months of 2016. In total, the MCA received 102 complaints from subscribers of telephony, Internet, television and postal services, 95% of which were addressed within 20 working days. The Authority also received 235 enquiries.
