Q1. Are you looking for an equipment which is similar to the Narda NBM?
A1. Please note that the purpose of this Invitation to Tender is for the supply of one EMF Selective Meter including probe and NOT a Broadband meter.
Q2. If you do not mind I would like to ask you what you need to measure.
A2. You are kindly requested to refer to Section 1 of the ITT – “Purpose of the Invitation to Tender”
Q3. Also, do you need to establish a communication on measurements? With our portable device (and also the fixed one) it is possible to download data on the Internet, so citizens can have an access to the results.
A3. The proposed equipment must fulfil the minimum technical requires mentioned in Section 7 of the Invitation to tender – Appendix 1 “Minimum Technical Specifications of the EMF Selective Meter – up to 5.8 GHz – including measuring probe.”
Q4. Are there any templates of the following documents?
ii. signed statement of Non-Solicitation
iii. a signed Confidentiality Agreement
A4. Interested bidders are invited to refer to the templates attached herewith.
Q5: The technical specifications state that : “The operating time of the equipment on a single set of battery pack must not be less than four (4) hours.” Would it be acceptable to offer an instrument with a battery operating time of 2.5 hrs (full operation) and 4 hours (on battery saving mode)?
A5: The technical specs did not elaborate on the type of “operating” time, therefore it is acceptable to have a 4hr operation on at least one particular “operating” mode.
The deadline for submissions of offers in relation to this tender is being extended up to 1200hrs on Friday 20th January, 2012

Additionally, kindly note the following rectification to the Minimum Technical Specifications found in appendix 1 (page. 16) :
Meter Frequency Range: At least from 500 kHz to 5.8 GHz
Measuring Probe Field: E-field
Probe Frequency Range: At least from 500 MHz to 5.8 GHz
Probe Type: Isotropic, 3-axis probe, covering the whole Frequency Range as specified above
