In the Decision, the MCA had invited any person or entity interested to provide a universal service, or part of, to submit their interest by 30th June 2010.

 

At noon today, the MCA opened the sealed envelopes received from interested entities.  The expressions of interest are included in the list below:

Printed telephone directory:

• Malta Directories Ltd
• Media Today Co. Ltd
• Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd

Electronic telephone directory:

• Abakus Solutions
• Malta Directories Ltd

In accordance with its Decision Notice published in April 2010, the MCA will evaluate all expressions of interest by adopting an adjudication process that ensures an efficient, objective, transparent and non-discriminatory designation mechanism in the forthcoming period.
