Consumer Perception Survey - Fixed Telephony

This last publication of survey results concludes a series of four surveys which have also covered broadband internet, broadcasting and mobile telephony during the past weeks.

Consumer Perception Survey - Mobile services

The MCA has today published the third set of survey results carried out between July and September, in order to gauge consumer perceptions on electronic communications services. The results published today are of a survey related to mobile services, whereby telephone interviews were carried with respondents chosen at random from GO’s and Melita’s online telephone directories. Only residential users were considered for this survey.

Following last month’s internet broadband survey publication, this is the second in a series of MCA surveys, which will also cover mobile and fixed telephony, results of which will be published in the coming weeks.

eCommerce enablers & suppliers survey - July '11

This is a follow up on a previous qualitative research carried out by the MCA in 2006.
The Authority felt the need to gauge developments amongst the different “commercial operators” in the field, assess whether the implementation of the 2006 recommendations has had any positive impact on the sector, identify any remaining or new barriers to the take up of such services and make new recommendations both to government, and public sector entities, the industry as well as constituted bodies, where appropriate.

Almost all households ready for digital switchover
