Full market opening of the postal sector in Malta will take place on the 1st of January 2013.
In order to ensure a smooth transition to a fully liberalised and competitive market environment, this decision designates MaltaPost as having significant market power in the following postal services markets: letter-post services market, bulk letter-post services market, registered letter-post services market and parcel-post services market.
